WHAT IS UV FREE SUNLESS SPRAY TANNING?

Sunless spray tanning is the spray / mist application of sunless tanning solution to your body. When applied, DHA (the active ingredient in Sunless tanning solution) reacts with the proteins in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown color. Your skin begins to darken two to three hours after application and reaches its peak color within 24 hours. The color will gradually fade through natural exfoliation, just like a tan from the sun. 

HOW DO I BEST PREPARE FOR MY SUNLESS SPRAY TAN?

If possible; exfoliate and shave the day before or the day of you session. (The day before is preferred).The day of the Sunless spray tanning session, refrain from using moisturizers, perfumes, lotions, oils or deodorants that may create a barrier between the skin and the Sunless tanning solution. You may resume using these after your first shower or bath. 

HOw LONG SHOULD I WAIT AFTER A SESSION BEFORE SHOWERING? 

To give the DHA enough time to fully set, we recommend that you wait at least 4 hours after your session; 8 hours for optimal results. Showering sooner may diminish the intensity of the tan. 

HOW LONG DOES SUNLSS SPRAY TANNING LAST?

A Sunless Spray Tan can last 7-10 days depending on the formula you choose and the condition of your skin. We recommend a weekly routine to maintain the perfect glow. 

WILL MY SKIN LOOK ORANGE?

No! Our VersaSpa Pro uses an even and very light spray mist to cover the skin in the perfect amount of bronzer. The orange effect that many people are used to is caused by other ingredients used in heavy wipe on lotion type bronzers.   The advanced technology used in our VersaSpa Pro tanning solutions is designed to ensure a natural, bronze tan. Our staff can help you select the proper level of tanning solution to best match your skin tone. 

WILL THE BRONZING FORMULA STAIN MY CLOTHING?

The sunless spray tanning solution which includes a cosmetic bronzer is water soluble and will be removed after the next wash in cold water. However, in rare instances, the DHA in the tanning solution may mix with sweat and possibly stain tight undergarments or clothing worn during the spray session. If your clothes are tight, we recommend wearing dark clothing to avoid any issues or excessive sweating around the collar or under garment areas. 

WILL I GET WET? IS IT MESSY?

No ; in fact this is one of our most popular concerns! 

Our fully automated VersaSpa Pro will mist your body with a very light mist of bronzer . The machine will then make a few blow dry  passes to dry your skin. By the time the booth completes the tanning cycle, you will emerge dry and ready to get dressed. At this point its time to watch your tan develop over the next 24 hours!  

I’VE NEVER USED A VersaSpa; HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO DO?

At ENERGY SPA our goal is to provide first time users full and complete confidence.  In the case of the VersaSpa Pro, we provide a full video demonstration that walks you thru every step of the process.  From entering the room to finalizing your sunless experience. In addition to the video demo, our VersaSpa Pro virtual assistant will talk to you throughout you session to insure you know when and how to pose for your perfect sunless tan! CAN I USE A TANNING BED AND VersaSpa IN THE SAME DAY?

YES! you DoubleDipper! To get an “instant” tan or an “extra boost” to your tan you should consider using our sunless VersaSpa Pro immediately after tanning in a bed or booth. In just seconds you can have the natural-looking bronze color you desire.
